You will be notified if a hold is placed on deposited funds.

Deposits are subject to verification and funds will not be available immediately. Once the deposit has been made, the pending transaction can be viewed over the phone. Bank of America generally takes one day to make available theyou checks As long as these have been received by the bank before the cut-off time on a business day.

Once the deposit is made, you will receive a confirmation email. If there is a problem with the transaction, you will receive a notification in the mail requesting that the check be taken to a financial center so that the problem can be resolved.

Zelle Transfers

Registered Zelle Receiver

Funds are typically available within minutes(1)
Zelle recipient not registered The amount of the transfer will be retained in your account; Once the recipient has registered with Zelle or a network bank, it may take up to two business days for the first transfer to post to the registered account. If your recipient hasn’t registered within 14 days, the transfer will be canceled and the funds will be returned to your account.

Sometimes, for the security of your account, it may take more time to verify the details of the transfer. In this situation, the amount of the transfer will be retained in your account. You will be notified by email when the transfer is complete.

Overnight and three business day transfers* At 8:00 pm ET for the next business day or 3 business days of transfer. The funds will be received by the recipient’s bank the next business day or within 3 business days.
Outgoing domestic transfers on the same business day*. 5:00 pm ET for same business day transfer. The funds will be received by the recipient’s bank on the same business day.
Outgoing international transfers* 5:00 pm ET for the international transfer. The sending customer will be informed when the funds are available to the recipient at the time the transfer is scheduled.
